Ember studied International Management with a minor in Communications and Media Studies at FUS. She is originally from Marin County, California (just north of San Francisco). Although she did miss the ocean when she was away, Lake Lugano was an idyllic substitute. As a child, she used to travel with her mom during summer vacations to visit family in Europe and tour new destinations. Ember's passion for exploration has not faded since, and she is always open to spontaneous adventures - near and far. She is  an avid outdoorswoman with a love of hiking and trekking, and she likes to spend her summers guiding sea kayaking tours in her hometown.

Fall 2016 - Spring 2017
Gabrielle majored in Communications and Media with a minor in Marketing. She grew up in the United States, but is half Swiss thanks to her mom. She loves living in Switzerland and enjoys taking walks and hopping across the border to buy groceries in her free time. The fact that she loves to travel seems like a given!

Originally from New York / the North Shore of Boston, her curiosity, creativity and independent spirit led her to Franklin University Switzerland. She is a firm believer in living your adventure and being kind to people. Her favorite places include her Grandma's house, Crested Butte, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Berlin and London. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, reading, doing yoga, and walking her dogs.

Spring 2013 - Spring 2016
Jessica, the creator of Adventures at Franklin, graduated in 2016 with a degree in Environmental Studies with minors in Political Science and Social Justice. Ambitious, passionate, curious and caring, she loves travelling and is grateful for the travel-related experiences she's had thanks to Franklin. She loves learning both in and out of the classroom, and has gained invaluable cultural insight while exploring places all over the globe. She believes an education to be one of the most powerful things on earth, and definitely made the most of hers.
