Created in 2013 by a student named Jessica, the blog was initially meant to be a tool for her to share her experiences and answer questions from prospective students. Since then, it's become all that and more.

With topics ranging from campus resources and professors to academic travel and weekend getaways, Adventures at Franklin is a resource for prospective and current students, families, and anyone else who is interested in Franklin University Switzerland.

About the Authors

Gabrielle
Fall 2016 - Present
I'm a Junior at Franklin University Switzerland, studying Communications and Media with a minor in Marketing. I grew up in the United States, but am half Swiss thanks to my mom. I love living here and presently have no intentions of going back! In all honesty, you'll probably find me most often in the library, but I do enjoy taking walks and hopping across the border to buy groceries in my free time. The fact that I love to travel seems like a given! I hope that you’ll follow along as I show you Adventures at Franklin from my perspective.

Morgan
Spring 2015 - Spring 2016
Morgan graduated from Franklin in 2016 after studying International Management with an emphasis in Finance. Originally from New York / the North Shore of Boston, her curiosity, creativity and independent spirit led her to Franklin University Switzerland. She is a firm believer in living your adventure and being kind to people. Her favorite places include her Grandma's house, Crested Butte, CO, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Berlin and London. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, reading, doing yoga, and walking her dogs.

Jessica
Spring 2013- Spring 2016
Jessica, the creator of Adventures at Franklin, graduated in 2016 with a degree in Environmental Studies with minors in Political Science and Social Justice. Ambitious, passionate, curious and caring, she loves travelling and is grateful for the travel-related experiences she's had thanks to Franklin. She loves learning both in and out of the classroom, and has gained invaluable cultural insight while exploring places all over the globe.  She believes an education to be one of the most powerful things on earth, and definitely made the most of hers.
